Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015)
What is ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System?
The ISO 9001:2015 standard is part of the globally recognized ISO 9000 family, which defines the principles and framework for building an effective Quality Management System (QMS).
This international standard outlines the requirements for organizations that aim to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory expectations — regardless of size, sector, or location.
The 2015 version of ISO 9001 introduced a modernized structure with ten key clauses, replacing the previous eight, to align with other ISO management system standards.
It is the only standard within the ISO 9000 family that organizations can be officially certified against.
While certification is voluntary, achieving ISO 9001:2015 demonstrates an independent and objective verification of a company’s commitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
